Over the past 12 months, we've partnered with Our Echo to transform the way we plan, deliver and measure resident wellbeing across our homes. From day one, they've worked as an extension of our team - listening to our needs, responding quickly and helping us shape a wellbeing programme that is truly resident-led.
Together, we've developed a clear Activity & Wellbeing Strategy that gives every home a consistent framework, clear objectives and measurable outcomes. Our teams understand what great looks like, and we now have the insight to continually improve.
The impact has been significant.
The e-Portal has dramatically reduced planning time by providing an extensive library of ready-to-use activities, lesson plans, videos, soundscapes and themed content. Rather than spending hours searching for ideas, our teams are spending more time where it matters most - with residents.
The platform is intuitive and accessible, enabling not only Activity Coordinators but the wider care team to deliver engaging, meaningful activities every day of the week. At Group level, it has also helped us standardise activity delivery across all our homes while still allowing each home to tailor experiences to the interests of their own residents.
Residents particularly enjoy the variety of quizzes and interactive content. The inter home competition quizzes have become a real highlight, while the Creativity Centre allows our teams to create personalised activities that reflect individual interests and abilities.

Beyond activity delivery, the e-Toolkit has transformed how we manage wellbeing across the Group. We now have real-time visibility of activity delivery, resident engagement, portal usage and participation levels across every home. This gives us meaningful data to evidence outcomes, identify trends and demonstrate resident engagement to regulators with confidence.

One of the most valuable additions has been the Story Capture module. Our homes can now upload photographs and stories directly to our marketing team, creating a seamless process for sharing the fantastic work taking place every day. It has strengthened collaboration between departments, increased the number of resident stories being published and helped showcase the quality of life within our homes.
